One of the most elegant home improvement products on the market, the three-inch Insulated Solid Roof Patio Cover is manufactured from high grade materials to ensure superior strength and durability. Each Insulated panel consists of a core of expanded polystyrene with 99% of its mass consisting of closed air cells to withstand absorption of moisture and to restrict sound to the point of being virtually soundproof! The core is impervious to moisture, insects and mildew. The insulation value of each insulated roof panel is equal to 5” of fiberglass, 10” of hardwood, 48” of brick!
Insulated Patio Covers - Optional Alumawood Frame
Each insulated Patio Cover Awning panel is enclosed with an orange-peel embossed aluminum skin, providing each panel with a beautiful texture and appearance. Insulated panels are specifically designed to securely inter-lock which allows for a waterproof seal and concealed fasteners inhibit rust and corrosion while providing a smooth, elegant appearance. All Insulated covers are provided with an optional Alumawood Patio Cover Awning frame. Alumawood frames consists of: a Header Beam, Posts, Post Side Plates, Rafter Fascia Boards (Front and Side Fascias), as well as decorative rafter tails that stub-out from the front rafter to give the added look of a real Wood Patio Cover awning. Alumawood Awning frames are manufactured from structural grade aluminum and coated with a baked on weather-resistant tuffcoat polyester paint. To give the Alumawood frame the look of a real Wood Patio Cover, a rough-sawn embossing pattern is applied during the manufacturing process. This process gives each alumawood frame the appearance and texture of a real Wood Patio Cover, hence the term "Alumawood".
